Who am I? I am a safeguarding consultant with over twenty years of experience of working with schools both in the UK and internationally, offering training through safeguarding seminars and bespoke training packages for all school staff, designated safeguarding leads, school governors, accredited safer recruitment training, safeguarding in the digital world and through safeguarding audits and reviews to prepare for inspections.
Safeguarding and Food? I am now living in Linslade, Leighton Buzzard and am offering safeguarding supper clubs to local schools. You may ask, how is safeguarding linked to food? Well it combines my two passions, safeguarding children in education and my love of cooking and eating good food! My thinking is therefore around sharing the good practice and good work I am doing in safeguarding and combining it with a delicious supper!
A safeguarding supper club … how does it work? Safeguarding supper clubs combine continuing professional development, networking and enjoying good food! The events take place in my home, usually after school at a mutually convenient time. After the training session, we will enjoy a lovely supper – see the subject areas below.
Why? I would like to introduce myself to my local schools (having worked primarily in London most of my life) and offer you the opportunity to become a host school for a variety of training packages and seminars including designated safeguarding leads, accredited safer recruitment training and safeguarding for governors. Host schools benefit from free spaces at events and training sessions.

If food does not interest you then there are other options. I have recently launched a brand you Safeguarding Service Level Agreement which will you allow you access to extensive, high quality safeguarding support, supervision and guidance and training tailored to your individual school’s needs.
